Wagner's powerful opera tells the tale of the captain who has been cursed to sail his ghost ship for eternity. Once every seven years this Dutchman goes ashore to seek out the true love who could release him from this punishment.

The Flying Dutchman features the Austin Opera Chorus and the Austin Opera Orchestra.
