This production marks the 150th Anniversary of the work’s premiere and the 60th Anniversary of Chorus Austin. Verdi's powerful score is a thrilling masterpiece which theatrically tells the tale of judgement day with liturgical text from the Roman Catholic Mass.

Verdi’s Requiem features the Austin Opera Chorus, Chorus Austin, and the Austin Opera Orchestra.
